Shimano celebrated its 100th anniversary in March 2021.
The company began with the dreams of Shozaburo Shimano in Sakai City, driven by his ambition to realise those dreams through metalworking technology. Since then, Shimano has spent 100 years creating new value in the fields of bicycle components, fishing equipment, and rowing gear.
The Odiel S1921 was created to celebrate this milestone in 2021. This e-bike comes standard with Shimano’s E6100 motor. The gears, hubs, and hydraulic disc brakes are also supplied by Shimano.
At first glance, this Odiel looks like a motorcycle straight out of 1921. But a closer look reveals a modern e-bike featuring a powerful 65 Nm mid-drive motor, 8 integrated hub gears, and automatic shifting.
