As standard, both models feature the Sturmey-Archer Duomatic hub with two gears, shifted by briefly backpedalling, eliminating the need for extra cables on the handlebars.
For those who prefer extra comfort or a wider gear range, Sam and Saar are also available with 3 or 8 speeds. Mudguards, a chain guard, lighting and a kickstand can be added without compromising their clean, minimalist design. Sam features the classic straight lines of a sporty men’s bike, while Saar’s Mixte frame gives it a light and elegant appearance.
